Waterloo Park has been the setting of several small festivals, but nothing quite the scale of this. Building off of the success of their Austin Fuzion events, which have featured Cut Chemist and DJ Spooky, Emo’s and Alamo Drafthouse are teaming up to put on a full-fledged festival on December 1st. Dubbed the FunFunFun Fest, the two bastions of indie in Austin, along with AT&T, have assembled a stellar indie lineup that will take over Waterloo Park on three stages. Among the big names rolling in to play are Spoon, The Sounds, Peaches, Diplo, the Circle Jerks and Prefuse 73. Seriously folks!
The park will be set up with a Punk Stage, Austin Fuzion stage and an Indie stage. Your only challenge is choosing between the stellar acts. Here are the not-quite-fully-filled-out lineups by stage:

Holy crap! Now that’s a day of music. We’re not exactly sure how they expect to get one band off the indie stage and the next one up in five minutes, but hey, maybe it will finally result in that long awaited Peaches and Spoon collab. Let’s just go ahead and call it Speaches now, because, well, Poon is just too easy.
Tickets go on sell next Friday October 27th at 2pm sharp. And all this can be yours for only $20. So mark your calendars folks and get ready for the newest Austin Festival to hit town.
