With the band’s debut, Passover, vaulting them into the realm of attention spans outside of Austin it goes without question that the Black Angel’s upcoming Directions To See A Ghost is one of the most hotly anticipated releases that the local scene will push out this year. Will it live up to the hype?
Probably, and I’m not thinking that way just because I’ve already heard the album. No, I’m confident in that respect because I think they’re an act that doesn’t have to change much. They just need to keep doing what they do best, which is creating huge sounds that fill a room like no other, and people will be happy.
You won’t be able to hold Directions To See A Ghost in your hands until May 13, but you can get it digitally on April 15 with a special pre-order card that can be purchased at Waterloo, End Of An Ear, Cheapo or Backside Records.
