Artist: The Dirty Hearts
Label: Socyermom Records
Genre: Rock
For every act in the world that a hipster feels is worthy of name dropping there is a band like the Dirty Hearts. Sure, to some that won’t sound very flattering, but on my end I think it showcases the fact that at the end of the day you still need those classic sounding rock bands to help keep the balance. I mean, experimental folk pop with a dash of mid-60s idealism all mixed together into a sound that can only be described as noisy can only go so far. Know what I’m saying? Now jump in the car, roll down the windows and prepare to be loud.
Pigs is actually set to hit store shelves tomorrow, so if you like what you hear then you won’t have to wait long to get more. On the other hand, if you are of the cash-strapped paranoid sort, the option to safely hold out for our full review of the album is available.
Personally, I think you all should just get it and move on with rocking this summer into oblivion.
