We love Switchburn’s live videos, and their tri-camera approach is even better when they direct their lenses to bands like Transmography. Hell, it would probably take more then three POV’s to capture the mesmerizing percussive force of the duo. “Exoskeleton,” filmed back in July at Emo’s, is an excellent example of Transmography’s ever-evolving sound, the synth and drum sparring punctuated by shouted vocals.
Transmography drummer Michael Frazier has recently been adding backbone to La Snacks, who will be releasing their new EP, Newfangled, on October 10 at the Mohawk. Transmography joins them on the bill, and also have a 7″ single planned for release sometime soon on Sinkhole Texas Records. You can also catch the duo with La Snacks on Sept. 23 at the Beauty Bar.
