The immaculately suave David Garza has a new album coming out at the end of the month. Dream Delay is pretty much his first official release in about 5 years, as he’s simply been releasing a slew of material online in the interim. But Dream Delay is certainly worth putting out in physical form, and even features some guests like Fionna Apple and Jim Ward helping out. Garza released a video for the lead track from the disc, “Two Sinners in the Garden,” which is as beautifully textualized as his songs thanks to the combined efforts of Todd Wolfson and Dutch Rall. Garza is currently holding down a residency at the Continental Club on Tuesday nights, which will last through February. We recommend going down and catching a show (maybe even tonight’s!) and watching Garza get all the girls worked up into a tizzy.
