Ah Harlem, we really can’t enough of these guys. Since the release of last summer’s debut EP, Free Drugs *-), the trio has been riding high (heh!), unloading their raucous, lo-fi garage rock across town and even garnering some national attention. We predict SXSW will be a good one for them this year! The video for “Witch Greens” is expectedly wicked and trippy. It was directed by Daniel Hill with an assist courtesy of Cole Evans and Jesse Hill.
Also in Harlem news, if you haven’t been following along on Gorilla Vs. Bear, the trio has been doing a cover a month. You can find them all here, as GVB tracks Harlem’s every sneeze. The latest is a version of Devo’s “Come Back Jonee.” Timely! We recommend you catch Harlem before SXSW, and they have two shows next weekend to do so. The first is Friday, March 13 at Club 1808, and then the next night at the Mohawk. In the meantime, check out “Witch Greens” below:
