So, Vega. Before we even knew that former Ghosthustler Alan Palomo had moved to Austin, he was stirring up shit. But hey, indie rock feuds are in! Take that stuff to Judge Judy! Good thing for Palomo that his new band, Vega, is actually pretty sweet, now that they has abruptly had the spotlight shown dubiously in their direction. Vega will be releasing debut EP Well Known Pleasures next week, which judging from the cover and the name is apparently on a quest to become the anti- Joy Division. Really, Vega?! Seriously? This is what you chose to go with for the EP? Still, lead single “No Reasons,” which has been floating around the nets recently, is worth the listen for a pretty smooth groove.
