Local hip-hoppers Beta Player started off the day laying down some heavy beats and emcees Ibrahim and Pax castigating the war and it’s consequences, both intended and unintended, in light of this week’s news. Still, the band was determined to get even the small crowd in front of the Blue Stage moving, and backed their rhymes up with some at times almost prog-like rhythms from the band.
