It’s starting to look a lot like ACL out there. After all the wet hipsters got enough of the indie crooning of Atlas Sound, they made their way over to the Blue Stage for veteran of the electro circle Alaska in the Winter a.k.a. Brandon Bethancourt. Backed up by a band of himself projected overhead, Bethancourt played a less than enchanting show in poor conditions for his echo-chamber head pop. Hindered by an ominous lack of stage presence and the ominous presence of a red keytar—which doesn’t help anyone’s indie cred—AIW pushed through the dirge of his trademark electo-pop.
