The slight misting from the morning seemed to be dissipating by the opening sets of Fun Fun Fun Fest, but the Roller still brought the thunder. The local quartet growled out ferocious sludge and doom metal from their eponymous Monofonus Press debut to the small spattering of fans fearless enough to brave the aural storm and the prospect of the still threatening clouds above. “Thanks to you guys who came out early - we hope you’re as fucked up already as we are,” offered Mike Morowitz.
