It’s true, you narcissistic jerk: The stars don’t shine just for you. This song, however, was completely written about us. At least that’s what we believe. Following up on last year’s debut LP, Let’s Fake It, the Seas will be officially dropping their new EP, Head Full of Snakes, with tomorrow’s release show at the Beauty Bar. We’ve been curious fans of the Seas for a while, and have to admit that their new album superbly polishes their kind of smooth glam, art rock sound. Also, how can you not get behind a band with a lead singer named Nurk, which according to urban dictionary, is possibly “someone who inspires others to smoke weed.” OK! Check out the tune “Stars Don’t Shine Just for You” below, and pick up a copy of Head Full of Snakes at Friday’s release show. Also on the bill for tomorrow are The Latest and DD Dagger.
