Palaxy Track’s “Twelve Rooms” Gets Digital Re-Issue

We hadn’t heard much from Palaxy Tracks since their excellent 2005 album Twelve Rooms, mostly because the group’s focal point, Brendon Durham, has been moonlighting with the Octopus Project for the past year. But thankfully Durham hasn’t abandoned the mellow, shoegazing project, and has recently re-issued Twelve Rooms in an expanded, digital edition.
The updated version of the album features the original 12 songs plus nine previously- unreleased tracks, which include some Twelve Rooms outtakes, a live version of Cedarland, a couple of re-mixes, a “Speech With Animals” demo and a cover of “Me & You & Him” by Chicago’s Daniel Knox.
